Welcome to Ozaukee Soccer District 2010 Spring season. We appreciate your time and efforts and hope you find your experiences rewarding. Here are a few reminders for you to help you have a successful season:

An updated Coaches Handbook is available for download using the "Handbook" link from the red menu bar above. The handbook provides field directions, game cancellation policies, coach licensing info, coach contact numbers, and general game rules. This is an Abobe PDF file(108KB).   • You can find the FULL version of the Ozaukee Recreational game rules under Referees > Rules.
  • Always bring your coach/manager pass AND a team roster to the games.
  • Only coaches/managers are allowed on the player's sideline.
  • Always be respectful of the referees--REMIND your parents and fans too!
  • Always be respectful of your players--it's not about winning--it's about developing strong players. Please DO NOT run up the scores. Instead, try initiating a 5 pass rule before shooting or even take players off the field.
  • Turn in your scores at the end of the season for Spring seedings.
  • Substitutions: Effective August 1st, 2009 The WYSA Board of Directors at its June 2009 meeting modified the "at any stoppage" substitution rule enacted for the 2008-2009 soccer season. The change in the substitution rule pertains to all leagues and tournaments, with the exception of the WYSA State Championship Tournament.

    The modification to the substitution rule reads as following: Substitutions may be made prior to a throw-in in favor of your team, prior to a goal kick by either team, following a goal by either team, following an injury to a player from either team or at half time. Substitutions may also be made for your team on the opposing team’s throw-in if the opposing team also has a player at the half-way line. This rule is effective for the 2009-2010 soccer season beginning August 1st, 2009.
